Sidura Ludwig

Sidura Ludwig is an award-winning author. Her recent short-story collection You Are Not What We Expected (House of Anansi, 2020) won the Vine Literary Award for Fiction and was short-listed for the Danuta Gleed Award. She has two books for kids coming out in 2024: her debut picture book, Rising (Candlewick Press), will be released in the spring; her debut middle grade novel Swan (Nimbus Publishing) in the fall. She holds an MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults from the Vermont College of Fine Arts. Born and raised in Winnipeg, MB, Sidura now lives and writes in Thornhill, ON with her husband and three children.

Syd Zolf

Syd Zolf has published six books of poetry, including three with Coach House Books: Janey’s Arcadia (2014), Neighbour Procedure (2010), and Human Resources (2007); and a selected poetry, Social Poesis, with Wilfrid Laurier University Press (2019). Their theoretical text, No One’s Witness: A Monstrous Poetics (Duke UP, 2021) was a finalist for the 2022 Pegasus Award for Poetry Criticism, presented by the Poetry Foundation. Honors also include a 2018 Pew Fellowship in the Arts, a 2008 Trillium Book Award for Poetry, and finalist for several other prizes, including two Lambda Literary Awards. They teach at the University of Pennsylvania.

Alain Goldschläger

Alain Goldschläger is Professor Emeritus of the French Department of the University of Western Ontario, founder and director of the Holocaust Literature Research Institute, Official Delegate of Canada to IHRA (where he was elected Chair of the Academic Study Panel). He has published or edited 26 books and more than 100 articles on French literature, the Holocaust, especially on Testimonies, and on Jewish themes including Simone Weil and Genocide issues. He was also President of the League for Human Rights of B’Nai Brith Ontario. He received the Order of Academic Palms from the French Government.
